Mother's Day

This year, like every year, the ward celebrated Mother's Day at the church building.
The Primary was going to put a program on/ talent show for the mommies.
Eliana was going to perform her own musical number, and like I knew she would she decided to not do it. And I was ok with that.
She performs the number for me til 2 am just about every night.
The night all the kids were going to get together to practice for the talent show, Eliana saw a group of girls practicing their dance number and said "Mommy I want to dance with the girls!"
I didn't want to discourage her so I said "Go ahead!"
She got in line with the girls and learned the dance moves quick.
She did great!
The Primary Leaders found her adorable and asked if I wanted her to dance with the girls.
I just said "If she wants to dance I am ok with that."
So they measured her for a tutu and asked me to take her in black.
She was so excited she told her daddy (who wasn't with us there) and even performed for him.
And that is how she became a part of the video below.

The  best Mother's Day gift is seeing my baby so happy doing what she loves. Of course she performed a lot better when it was just the girls, the choreographer, and her.
That didn't matter. What mattered was the life on her face. Watching her have fun.
I felt her happiness. It felt as if it was just me and her. I couldn't stop watching her and laughing as she laughed. Nothing could be more beautiful to me than my child happy.

This Mother's Day I am happy to say that I am very blessed with children that help me stay happy even through the toughest days. And soon there will be one more!

*I must add that daddy was distracted as well and forgot he was recording at times. It's kind of hard to take your eyes off of your happy little one.
We are excited for her recital on the 30th of this month with her ballet class. We got her costume today and she looks CAYOOTE! (cute)
